Town in northern part of Hokkaido where Morihei UESHIBA first met and trained with Sokaku TAKEDA of the DAITO-RYU JUJUTSU school, through an introduction from Kotaro YOSHIDA. Ueshiba participated in a ten-day seminar at the HISADA INN ending March 5, 1915.
